What is DuckBot?

DuckBot is a Second Life Bot System. A bot on Second Life is an avatar driven by scripts. You don't need to connect it on your viewer — we host your bot on our server so it can be online 7/7 and 24/24.

A bot?

A bot is a Robot. On Second Life a bot is a normal avatar but driven by scripts. You don't need to use a viewer to connect it. We connect your bot on our server so it will be online 7/7 and 24/24.

The bot will be my avatar?

Yes. You have to create an alt (a new avatar) and enter it on our system.

How can I log on / log out my bot?

You can use the HUD we will give to you, or you can do it on this website when you are logged in.

I need a special command — can you do it for me?

Yes! You can contact us if you need a special command. We are constantly developing and improving DuckBot.

I'm not very comfortable with LSL scripts — can you help?

You don't need to be an expert. We have samples of scripts — take a look at Commands, and complete scripts are available when you are logged in.

I want to send group invitations. Do you provide a terminal?

Yes, we provide a powerful group terminal. You can activate the sensor and/or the click system to invite your visitors. The sensor will not spam — it invites only people who are not yet in your group. If a person refuses the group, they will not be invited again.

Is the group terminal easy to set up?

2 clicks only! Before clicking on your terminal, give the group to your bot with a role that allows it to invite. Then click the terminal — it will ask you 2 questions:

1) Which bot will invite? (if you have multiple bots you can choose one.)
2) Which group? (The system will scan all groups of your bot and ask in which one you want to invite.)

I forgot to pay my fees. My bot is deactivated.

Don't worry — it happens to everyone :) Just pay your fees and your bot will be activated again immediately.

I'm late to pay — will I pay the days my bot was not activated?

No, you pay only the time your bot is working. We don't deactivate your bot immediately — we wait 1 day after you are late. If you pay 1 week, it will be added to your actual time. If you are late more than 1 day, your bot will be deactivated. If you then pay 1 week, it will be added because you pay only for active time.

Can I have the list of avatars invited to my group?

Yes. In the menu click your bot(s) and you will see an Invitations tab. Click it and you will see the full list.
